NEVER worked:

We purchased two of the same frame for grandparents for Christmas. Neither one of them work right out of the box. Both screens would not come on at all. We have purchased the bigger sized version and love it. It was better quality no doubt.

Okay... JUST okay... for the money:

This "newer version" of the 6.5" model does NOT have a resolution of 800x480 as advertised. According to the specs on the box, it has a resolution of 720x480. I am not finding the picture particularly crisp, and the color is less than spectacular. I wanted a smaller frame for my desk at work, so that I did not have to have multiple picture frames and loose photos cluttering up my workspace. Usable picture area.:

Very satisfied with unit due to the fact that we researched it prior to purchase and knew that there was a picture size limitation. If you use pictures from your digital camera without modifying the size you will only use about 75% of the frame. We haven't tried to modify pics so not sure about results. Picture color and clarity was good, menus' very useable with many choices. Good value for the money.

A great campanion piece to a digital camera. We were viewing pictures shortly after unwrapping the gift. Easy to start using.
