Buggy, buggy, buggy:
This software would not install at all on my Intel-based Aluminum iMac running Leopard 10.5.6. I was able to get it to install on a PowerPC G5 running Leopard 10.5.6, however, it is barely usable due to constant crashes. I'm very disappointed.
Adobe Photoshop ELements 6 (MAC):
Unfortunately this item does not come with a manual so I was completely unable to use it without purchasing an additional book, priced at [...], with directions about how to use it. That information should be clearly stated somewhere on the site. Nowhere does it say that directions are not included. In fact the manual is called "Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac - The Missing Manual." That, to me, is a scam. Great Product:
I have a macbook and needed a graphics package, but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars. I caught this on a good sale, and I am so glad I bought it. It was a little confusing for me at first, but after a few hours I was really pleased with how much I could do. The help that is included is pretty good for explaining how to use the specific commands, but I needed more help in understanding how to work with layers and some of the effects. I ended up searching the Internet for help (entered the product name... more info Great basic editing tool:
