stanleys movie soundtracks:

excellent variations on his work in the movie industry. this is not his usual funk based stuff it is more orchestrated.

A Good CD With some Good Cuts with Dejas Theme The Best Of The Lot. An Enjoyable CD To Listen To From Time To Time, But Not A CD That Sticks Out As A Whole!!!

Musical Gem:

A MARVELOUS collection is "Stanley Clarke at the Movies"!! One would not have to be familiar with any of the film titles on this compilation in order to hear and feel the emotion in every last musical arrangement!
The orchestral piece I most enjoy from "Stanley Clarke at the Movies" is "Lucky Again," from one of my top favorite films, POETIC JUSTICE. "Lucky Again" has a relaxing melody with a FANTASTIC finish!

Just one song...:

Stanley Clarke is very much unheralded; just the track "Lisa" (Passenger 57) is worth double the album price. Magnificent!
