only 2 levels included:

the 2 levels included are fun and GREAT for learning. my child advanced quickly through them and now, we are prompted every game to buy more levels. i have had problems in the past with cancelling subscriptions so i am very wary. think i will stick with the original 2 levels and call it a loss. too bad, i would have purchased more jumpstart product...

It's all true, or mostly true . . .:

My 6 year old loves it, and for entertainment and educational value I would have given the product 4 stars. However, I was a bit shocked to realize I had to fork over more money so my child could continue past the first two sessions. Maybe it did say that on the box, but I missed that part. I paid the additional dues, and my son loves it. When I buy a child's software, though, I don't want to have to connect to the Internet to use it, or pay monthly fees to use it. I haven't yet experienced customer service... more info

Wish i had this when i was a kid!:

Jumpstart World is one of those games for kids that make me remember back to my childhood. I'm a big videogame player and growing up i recall playing learning games in school like Math Blaster, or Oregon Trail. I got the chance to demo JumpStart World and wow, i'm just blown away. Educational games for kids have come such a long way from when i was in school playing them. Theres just so much content for kids to tackle, math, spelling, arts and crafts, owning pets, and just exploring the world. I think... more info

The best educational game.:

I can not say enough wonderful things about jumpstart. I home schooled my kids for kindergarten so I bought them this to help out and make learning fun. They LOVE it!
They don't even know they are learning. It is fabulous. If you have dial up you will need to get the off line version which works just as well! My daughters look forward to getting their super gem and earning those keys. It's a big event in our household. I would recommend this to anyone. My girls are now in first grade and still come... more info
