nice tape measure for it's purpose:

This device does exactly what it was meant to do and does it well. It is a rather cheaply made device and I don't know how long the spring mechanism will last, but for occasional use it should last a lifetime. IT is easy to use and works well.

Great Item:

A greatest measuring tape I ever used. Easy to use by yourself. I have had it for about four months.

Simple, works:

I tried measuring my waist with a regular sewing tape measure - it's very hard to read it, to hold it steady, and to know how much pressure to apply. You can easily get +/- 1" that way.
With the MyoType measure, it is lightly spring-loaded, so you don't need to guess at whether you're holding it correctly or not or applying the right pressure - you just wrap the tape around your body, press the little spring loaded retractor button, and read the measurement.
