Use a tall kitchen bag instead:

I have a Fellows SB-97Cs and use tall kitchen bags. They are more durable but do require a bit more care during installation.

Not worth it:

These bags are extremely thin and rip just trying to open the bag. Not even good enough for a trash can, no less a shredder basket. I switched back to just normal trash bags after just using 2 bags because they only ripped opened and then I had to use another bag anyway.

Use a Kitchen Garbage Bag:

I have the DM17CS and I use a standard plastic kitchen garbage bag. I streach the top of the bag around the interior rim of the unit and there is nothing haning outside the shredder.

It Does The Job, But Pricey:

Hard to review essentially trash bags. These bags are not particularly cheap but it does the job. I tried using ordinary trash bags but the shredder kept indicating that the door was not closed. These shredder bags are really thin and I don't have that problem. Although the bags are thin they are pretty strong. I have yet to puncture one of them. I could go without using bags at all, but the bags are more convenient and are not as messy as dumping the basket contents into another bag. Fortunately I do not... more info
