"New improved wetjet pads" are worthless!:
I have been using the Swiffer wet jet on my laminate floors for 5 1/2 years (since I built the house), and I LOVED it (except for the strong odor). A couple of years ago, they "improved" the pad. Now it doesn't work at all. I just discovered this, as I had built up quite an inventory of the original pads. The new ones are thin and leave horrible smudges and streak marks all over the floor. I have called the company, to no avail. I am no longer using this product and am looking for a suitable replacement.

I have had this for a couple years and love it. I saw the poor reviews on this and thought I had to write a positive one. Yes, the solution and pads do get pricey, but I prefer to dispose of dirt rather than wash it. Yes, you do need to sweep the dirt and debris up first, but you do that when you use a regular mop too. Wonderful product. Would buy again and again. LOVE IT:
I have been using the wetjet for about a yr now. So far I have replaced the batteries once.
PADS FOR CLEANING NO GOOD:
I BOUGHT ONE. PADS GET FILTHY AFTER A FEW STROKES ON A DIRTY FLOOR AND THEN CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE FILTH. TV ADS NEVER SHOW A DIRTY PAD. ALL PAD MOPS WILL BE JUST AS USELESS. IN MY OPINION, THIS PRODUCT WAS DESIGNED FOR USE ON CLEAN TV FLOORS OR TO SELL REPLACEMENT PADS. Accessories:
